After a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s, Bill passed away peacefully at home on February 26, 2015 at the age of 82. Bill was born in Vernon on December 25, 1932 as an “extra” Christmas present for his parents, Percy and Bessie Shillam.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Betty; his two daughters, Leslie (David) and Patricia; his six grandchildren: Ashley, Nigel, Caleigh, Simon, Ted, and Dana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held for bill at Paddlewheel Hall, 7801 Okanagan Landing Road on March 14, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
