Barbara Ann Hart, age 75 of Versailles, Ohio passed away suddenly at 5:07 PM on Wednesday October 30, 2019 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. Born in Greenville, Ohio on July 21, 1944 she was the only child to the late Eugene & Mary Alice (Garland) Campbell. Barbara was a Greenville High School Graduate. She retired from JCPenny Corporation after providing customer service for over 30 years. Barb had also served as Richland Township Clerk for over 10 years. She loved going to all of the Versailles sporting events and supporting her community. Barb liked to travel throughout Ohio and the surrounding states searching for antiques & treasures. More than anything she loved her family and grandchildren; she was always supporting them in their many extracurricular activities and they meant the world to her. She will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son Brian Crabtree.

Survived by her husband of 38 years, Dan L. Hart whom she married July 20, 1981: children Janell Varner (Crabtree); Michelle & David McClure; Daniel J. Hart; Randal Hart; Cynthia Hart: grandchildren Bambi McClure; James McClure; Emily McClure; Jenna McClure; Ethan Varner; Jamie Hart; Sarah Hart: great-grandson Garth McClure.

Friends may call on the family from 5:00 -8:00 PM on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the St. Denis Catholic Church, 14 E Wood St, Versailles, Ohio with Fr. Jim Duell presiding. There will be a visitation from 9:00 AM-10:00AM on Tuesday morning at the funeral home, prior to mass. Burial to follow at St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles, Ohio. Will miss Barb so much. She was a great neighbor and friend. She was very thoughtful and loving with my daughter and grands. She made me laugh and I always think of her when I see anything chicken related, especially MUGS!!! Rest In Peace, my friend. Condolences to her family..

I had worked with Barb . Then I would see her out and about we always chatted.. Last time I seen her I was visiting someone @Versailles Nursing Home and then all of a sudden she says aren't you going to talk to me. She was a hoot. You will be missed Barb. May you Rest In Peace.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Barb. She was a wonderful lady and enjoyed working with her at SNB 3rd & Nut branch. Three of my best friends I worked with at the 3rd branch in Greenville have passed. Thoughts and prayers for Barb’s family. At Christmas she had a Wonderful party at her home for the girls that worked with her at SNB. She also included our families. She was a great person. She will be missed . RIP Barb🙏

I have only known barb for a short time, however from the moment I met her I knew she was special. A sweet and wonderful women who treated my wife and I like family. It was both and honor and a privilege to know her. To the family I am deeply saddened for your loss and know there are many who mourn with you. She will be greatly missed.
