Bonsey was born July 26, 1944, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Paul Gasson & Norma (Goubeaux) Gasson Reed. Bonsey was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Joseph E. Reed; and brothers, Steven and Phillip Gasson.
Bonsey is survived by a sister-in-law, Sally Gasson; nieces, Renee Topham of Tennessee, and Misti Reeves of Texas; and nephew, Steven Gasson of Colorado.
Bonsey was a 1962 graduate of Versailles High School. Bonsey was a restauranter.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles with Chaplain Randy J. Reed officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Wilson Hospice in Sidney. Arrangements are entrusted to bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
