I meant David through my daughter Mary. I could tell that I was blessed from the beginning. He brought so much joy to my heart. I loved him just like a son. I believe that he would do just about anything possible for me and I would for him also. Him and mammaw spent a lot time with me and Mary and even went on a vacation together. We laughed and cried together. He left me with so many fond memories and I will always cherish them. My heart aches for his family, they were his life. Much love to all of you.

I have many memories with Dave from shortly after meeting him at work he took me under his wings and protected me. He helped my husband and I through all of our problems and always let us know when we were messing up. My favorite memory with Dave was the day I married my husband, he was my husbandโ€™s best man. After the ceremony my daughter Shelly was having a very rough time and I couldnโ€™t get her calmed down, Dave grabbed her wheelchair and took her up to the dj and ask them to play the titanic song โ€œthe heart will go onโ€ because he knew she loved music and this was her favorite song. That song started and Shelly got really happy, she started cussing people out later which Dave loved when her attitude started. So for the rest of the evening Shelly wanted no one but Dave so wherever he went she was with him. My daughter, my husband and I will always love and miss him.

I have so many of them, I just can't choose! But I think I'll go ahead and relive this one moment in time when Cleo was still alive. Amanda had decided to keep one of her puppies, Jake. But somehow David ended up with him as well. Cleo had a couch, Jake had a love seat, and that's where I was plopped at. They got into trouble and without thinking about me still being there, he told them to go to their "couches" and before I know it, Jake is sitting on my face! He started laughing so hard at my suffering! (That was just David lol) I have to figure out how to get a great Dane off my face while he's laughing! He finally told Jake to get up after laughing hysterically at me and Jake. I hated it when he told that story over and over again ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿคฃ. Cuz the words he would add to make it even more embarrassing ๐Ÿ˜ณ was for lack of better words; heart breaking. But after the embarrassment wore off, I was finally able to hear that story again. Some people thought we were a couple, but we didn't tell them any differently lol. He liked learning how to play dice ๐ŸŽฒ, a card game we call 21. No it's not blackjack, it's something totally different! Mammaw knows how to play. I'm blessed to have been placed in this family as an honorary member! My prayers get said every night and this family gets included! ๐Ÿ™ I love you all, and I will forever miss my Uncle David โค๐Ÿ’™
