Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Debra J. (Stephan) Seger whom he married November 8, 1980; children, Kimberly Seger & fiancé, Brian Jones of Cleveland, Carmen Seger & David Hevesi of Berkeley, California and Eric & Amy Seger of Columbus; brother & sister-in-law, David & Carol Seger of Centerville; sister-in-law, Judy Seger of Bellbrook; sisters & brothers-in-law, Diana & Bill Walker of Huber Heights, Deborah & Mark Gehle of Yorkshire and Lisa & Steve McNeilan of Yorkshire; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Diane and Mike Thompson of Versailles; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. As an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, he attended opening day for many consecutive years with his brothers, family and many friends. While he was a retired electrical engineer, he thrived during home renovation projects, including the farm home place with his wife Deb. Dennis was also a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in North Star, Knights of Columbus and the Versailles Eagles #2347. Above all, Dennis cherished moments with his family as seen through his vibrant personality, how he led by example, and display of constant love and support. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, February 25, 2019, at St. Louis Catholic Church in North Star. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery in North Star. Debra and family, We were saddened to hear that the Lord has called Dennis home to Him. He and I shared a redheaded bond. Charlie was very fond of you and spoke often of your meeting at Kettering Towers. Death is never easy at any age and turns your whole life upside down. Let those that you love be your strength in the days and weeks ahead. Dennis and your family were loved by many and our hearts grieve with you. We miss you in Tipp City and especially at St. John's. Erma Hagen sent a message to me yesterday asking that I let you know how sorry she was to hear of Dennis' passing. They are still in Florida celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. I have some books on Bereavement that I would like to send to you. Our Living With Losses support group feel that they are helpful. There are four books, one is sent every 3-4 months up until the Anniversary of Dennis' death. I will try to find your address and will send them to you. May God bless you at this time and give you peace in knowing that someday you will be reunited.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Red. We are sorry we can't be there but please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. He was a great guy and was taken too soon but I know he is in heaven and is reunited with loved ones who have gone before us. He was so proud of all of you and always beamed when he spoke of you.

With warm thoughts and prayers,

Jim Fetzer and family

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Debra. We surely remember all the good times we had with you and the girls and Eric when you were in Tipp City. We will always remember Dennis as a good man. He was a faithful and caring husband and father and was a very religious man. He cared so much for all people and would do whatever he could to help out anyone or any organization.

God Bless you and your family.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Dennis was one of the nicest people we have ever known. Our years of sitting through countless basketball games was made more enjoyable with Dennis in the stands. Heaven has gained an angel. He will be missed.
