Elizabeth Ann Weaver

Elizabeth was born on May 22, 1937, in Russia, Ohio to the late Ralph J, and Evelyn E. (Monnin) Pepiot. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Joe Pepiot, Paul Pepiot, Lowell Pepiot, Jan Francis, Mary Jane May and Ray Pepiot.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, of 65 years, Edward Weaver, whom she married on June 18, 1960; her children, Doug (Jane) Weaver, Dan (Sonya) Weaver, Julie (David) Stuckman and Susan (Matt) Martin; her grandchildren, Grady Stuckman, Owen Stuckman, Drew (Alyssa) Martin and Ryan (Jadyn) Martin; her great-grandson, Leo Martin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Elizabeth was a 1955 graduate of Russia High School. After high school, she worked for a time at Poultry Producers. Following her marriage to Edward, she spent her years as an exemplary homemaker. She had a love of baking for her family and friends alike. She was a faithful member and regular daily mass go-er at St. Denis Catholic Church. She spent several years caring for her aging parents and will be remembered for her loving, caring, giving nature, not needing acknowledgement or accolade.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 15, 2026, at St. Denis Catholic Church, 14 East Wood Street in Versailles with Rev. Fr. Ned Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the St Valbert Cemetery, Versailles, Ohio.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 14th from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM in the Bailey Zechar Funeral home and again on Friday, May 15th from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
