Linda Katherine (Bey) Milbourn, 55, of Versailles, Ohio, was granted her angel wings on January 12th, 2017. Her final moments were spent surrounded by her family and loved ones whom Linda had touched the hearts of throughout her too short, yet very memorable life.
Linda was born on September 7th, 1961 in Piqua, Ohio to Mary & Harold Bey.
Linda lived a beautiful life full of loving memories and as an incredible inspiration to others. She built a home, a family, and countless memories with her soul mate and best friend by her side. She proved she was stronger & more courageous than most can ever imagine, beating cancer and surviving to live another 24+ wonderful years. It was this strength, courage, and the ease to which she always thought about others before herself that so many who love her will always admire and aspire to.
Linda enjoyed friendships & familiar faces that she served throughout her career with the Village of Versailles. She acted on her selfless desire to put others first throughout her time as an EMT with the Versailles Life Squad. She spent her life making memories and enjoying moments with those she loved most. She loved spending time outdoors planting flowers, taking vacations with her family, helping others in any way she could, and infusing her favorite moments and holidays with traditions that will never be forgotten.
Linda is survived by her husband, Bart Milbourn, with whom she shared a friendship, love, and life with that most people only ever dream of. The love & commitment they have always had for one another proves that true love really does exist, and it sets the bar for the kind of love that one can only ever hope to find in this lifetime.
She is also survived by her daughter, Amanda, her son-in-law, Kevin, and her first grandson, Orie, whom she absolutely adores and who never failed to bring a smile to her face and a sparkle to her eye. Her second grandson, Maddon Lindan, is expected in February and will be named after her.
Linda is also survived by her son, Derek, with whom she shares the most special bond that only a mother and her ‘baby boy’ can understand, as well as Derek’s girlfriend, Allison, whom Linda quickly came to love as one of her own.
Linda is also survived by her siblings Phyllis Goubeaux, Joe Bey, Steve Bey, Pat Simons, Roger Bey, Kathy Barhorst, Tony Bey, and Jeanette Bey (who has always been like a sister.)
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, January 16, 2017, at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Rev. Fr. Jim Simons celebrant.
