Lois V. Magoto

Lois V. Magoto, age 89 of Versailles, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 2:14 AM at her residence. Lois was born May 23, 1936, in Coldwater, Ohio, the daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Schnieder) Fink.

Lois was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church. She spent her life working as a homemaker. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. When she was able, her hobbies included tending to her flowerbeds and caring for her dachshunds.

In addition to her parents, Lois is preceded in death by her husband Willard “Bill” Magoto; her son, Todd J. Magoto; her siblings and spouses, Clarence and Alvera Fink, Mildred and Walter Stachler, Gerald and Leoda Fink, Elmer and Dorothy Fink, Donald and Ruth Fink, Velma and Walt Bruegaman and Arnold and Irene Fink.

Lois is survived by her children and spouse, Jerry Magoto and Lisa Ward of Versailles, Amy and Tim Brinkman of San Francisco, CA.; her grandchildren, Josh Magoto and Kendra Ganger, Molly and Charlie Shaw, Arielle Brinkman, Alexandra Brinkman, Todd and Holly Worsham, Tyrus and Brittany Worsham, Bryan Ward, and Dylan Olinger; great grandchild, Raylan, Arlo, Nala, Izzy, Tyrus Jr., Gracie, Blaze, and Asher; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, 10:30 AM at St. Denis Catholic Church 14 East Wood Street, Versailles, Ohio with Rev. Fr, Ned Brown Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday, October 19, 2025, and from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Monday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio.
