Patricia A Beck

Patricia Ann (Barga) Beck, age 96, passed away quietly on December 11, 2025, in Venice, Florida having relocated there for the past 10 years from Versailles. She was born on May 7, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan, to John L. and Lenora (Goubeaux) Barga.

A longtime member of St. Denis Church for more than 80 years, Pat’s faith was central to her life. She regularly participated in church activities and events, contributing generously to her parish with her time and energy. Her love for Versailles was evident through her volunteer work at numerous local events as well.

Pat enjoyed a successful career in banking spanning over three decades in Versailles, before retiring from U.S. Bank. Her professional life reflected her dedication and commitment to excellence. Outside of work, Pat cherished time with her family and friends, finding joy in gatherings filled with delicious meals and spirited games, especially cribbage.

Pat is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joelle and Dave Gibson; grandsons Heath Gibson (Sarah Borges) and Clark (Onalin) Gibson; siblings Ed (Joyce) Barga and Joan Smith; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents John L. and Lenora Barga; stepmother Emerita (Simon) Barga; and siblings Jack (Janice) Barga, Virginia (Cliff) Harmon, Robert "Gus" (Norma) Barga, Betty (Lester) Lehmkuhl, Jim (Sadie) Barga, and Larry (Sonja) Barga.

Pat’s warmth and generosity touched all who knew her. Her memory will live on through the countless lives she influenced with her kindness and unwavering spirit.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, 10:30 AM at St. Denis Church, followed by interment at St. Valbert Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the K of C Hall in Versailles. Donations can be made to the Versailles Life Squad, Poultry Days Committee, Versailles Historical Society, or the charity of choice.
