Keith’s life started in Tennessee, but he traveled the world until he landed in Versailles Ohio. He was the child of a man that would not compromise in his beliefs. His Dad was a coal miner, policeman, sheriff, and truck driver for the Savannah River project. He was so very proud of that and carried his dad’s beliefs and values with him. Keith was a 21-year veteran of the United States Air Force. He was stationed at Air Force Bases in New York, Wyoming, S. Korea, Minnesota, Bellefontaine, Holland, California, Thailand, Oklahoma, and Illinois then retired to Versailles. He then worked for Miller Meteor ambulance factory as an inspector. When they closed their doors, he worked for Subler Transfer Inc and then ultimately with Harold Pohl Trucking.
He loved staying involved in his children’s, grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s lives. Dad enjoyed golfing with his buddies and hanging out in the club house after their rounds of golf. He enjoyed any kind of racing. Either being a participant, helping in the pits or just watching. He had a love of classic cars and owned many throughout the years. He even sold his wife’s favorite car and made her cry…whoops learning moment! He was a drummer in various bands while in the Air Force. He made lifelong friends while enjoying all of his hobbies. We will miss his stories from his adventurous life but more than that we will miss him.
