Rose J. Henry

Rose J. (Voisard) Henry, age 98, of Versailles, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at The Village Green Rehabilitation and Health Center in Greenville, Ohio. Rose was born on April 16, 1928, in Shelby County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Michael and Agnes (Monnier) Voisard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Roy F. Henry whom she married on August 20, 1947, her daughter, Linda Henry; her siblings, James, Robert, Carl, Cyril, John Voisard, Helen McEldowney and Florence Smith.

She is survived by her; son, Roger Henry of Versailles; daughter, Mary Subler of Versailles; grandchildren, Kelli (Kevin) Berger, Mike Henry, Steve (Tracy) Henry, and Dan (Michelle) Subler; great grandchildren, Payton Berger, Zoey Zimdas, Landon, Alana, Brayden, Blake, Kirstin, Quinton, Xavier and Eva Henry, Cameron and Jonathan Subler; brother in law, Royce Smith and sister in law, Sarah Henry; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She retired from Weaver’s Brothers with 27 years of service. She was a member of DAI and St. Denis Catholic Church. She enjoyed gathering with her family especially around the holidays. Her hobbies included crocheting, collecting dolls, bells and Precious Moments.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles, Ohio, with Rev. Father Ned Brown celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles, Ohio.

Family will receive friends on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM as well as on Tuesday morning from 9-10 AM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio.

It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to Everheart Hospice, 1350 North Broadway, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
