Rosemarie Ann Pierron

Rosie was born on June 5, 1945, in Piqua, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leo J. and Virginia (Gariety) Drees.

Rosie worked at Auto Craft in Minster, Copeland in Sidney and was a homemaker; she was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church; she was a member of the Quilt and Share. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed spending her time going camping and reading.

Rosie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband John “Bill” Pierron on November 19, 2017, whom she married on June 12, 1971; her nephews, Tim and Mike and brothers-in-law, Paul Pierron and Joe Pierron and sister-in-law, Cheryl Pierron.

Rosie is survived by special family, Theresa & Ed and Tori Minnich of Versailles and; her siblings, Mary Jean (Neal) Pleiman and Richard (Karen) Drees;

in laws include Dick & Ruth Pierron of Versailles, Tom & Judy Pierron of Versailles, Larry Pierron of Versailles, and Marvin & Jane Pierron of Versailles; sisters-in-law, Mary Pierron of St. Henry and Boots Pierron of Versailles, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles, Ohio. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2026, and again on Friday from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the Bailey Zechar funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45420 or the donor’s choice.
