Thomas R. Francis

Thomas (Tom) R. Francis, age 64, of Versailles passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Tom was born on February 5, 1961, to the late Raymond and Rita (Barga) Francis. Tom is survived by his son Kyle (Jennifer) Francis; grandsons Carter, Zane, and Kahl Francis; sister Lisa (Kent) Barga; niece Andrea (Kyle) Goubeaux, and nephew Eric Barga. Also surviving is Tom’s former wife Kay (Schulze) Francis.

Tom was a 1979 graduate of Versailles High School. He retired from Midmark Corporation in 2016 after 32 years of service, and most recently worked at Edison State Community College. Throughout Tom’s life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, taking drives, attending dirt track sprint car races, and playing cards with family.

The family will have a private graveside memorial service held at the convenience of the family. Final interment will take place at St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles.
