William Edward Swallow

William “Bill” Edward Swallow, age 85 of Yorkshire, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 4:56 AM. Born in Yorkshire on November 9, 1935 he was a son to the late Walter & Dorothy (Smith) Swallow. Bill was a 1953 graduate of Versailles High School. On October 30, 1955 he married the love of his life, Francis Elizabeth Abbott. He retired from Copeland after 45 years of service, and also had worked at Walmart and Rural King. Bill was a proud United States Army veteran, and served from 1955-1957. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Francis Swallow: son Randall Swallow: grandson Matthew Swallow: half-sister Joan Selzer: siblings Gerald & Grace Swallow; Margie Swallow: in-laws Charles & Phyllis Abbott; Leroy & Mary Draving.

Bill is survived by his son Richard & Margie Swallow: grandchildren Maria & Ashish Verma; Nicki & Joel Mead; Justin Swallow; Jessica Swallow; Jeff & Chelsea Shaner; Darrell & Kim Whalen: 11 great-grandchildren.
