Frank was blessed with a happy childhood full of sports, music and summers on the weather ships. Upon highschool graduation, he articled with Ismay, Boiston, Dunn and eventually became an Auditor for Revenue Canada, retiring after 30 years.
In 1966, he married Roberta (Robbie) with whom he shared a love of singing, cooking, travel and their three children.
His musical passion was life-long. He participated in church youth choirs, sang tenor in numerous chamber groups and became a chorus member with Pacific Opera Victoria (51 productions!). Throughout his 70s, he played trumpet in Jive and Soul Source bands.
Frank’s Christian beliefs led to enthusiastic service for others: assistance to seniors, leadership roles at St. Matthias, Christ the King and Church of our Lord, distributing food and serving meals at Living Edge.
He is remembered with love and profound gratitude by Robbie, Cameron (Melanie), Christopher (Andrea), Kirsten (Carlo), three precious granddaughters, Olivia, Sophia and Harper, his sister, Pam and many other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank all those who cared for and corresponded with him over the last five months. Your acts of kindness, encouragement and support were appreciated beyond measure. He felt deeply loved.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 2pm at Church of our Lord, 626 Blanshard Street, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Living Edge (www.livingedge.ngo) or Victoria Hospice (www.victoriahospice.org)
