2 years have gone by so quickly, it feels like I was just talking to you on the phone last week. Everyone has continued on with their lives, like we’re suppose to, but your memory never fades. Mom its still hard to believe that you are not here with us.  A tear trickles down my cheek as I think of you and realize that its been a year already that you've been gone. 
Although we missed so many years together you were always in my heart. I'm so thankful that we reconnected the last few years of your life, for me it was a blessing.
They say that time heals all pain but I don't believe that's true. I still miss you as much today as I did the day you left us. One year will become 5 then 10 memories will never fade and the heartache remains forever. 
It feels like only yesterday you were working in your garden, walking on the beach, playing with Maybelline. I hope your garden in heaven is filled with all the beauty of your garden here on earth but perhaps angels sing and fill the air instead of humming birds and butterflies. 
Your pain has now left you and your soul has rested. May all the good times of your life be constantly playing thru your mind, reminding you of how much you are loved and missed. My mind leads me to hope that you have reunited with all loved ones who went before you, and that you received with open arms loved ones who came after you.
Praying that this past year has allowed your heart, mind and soul to reach eternal peace knowing that one day will bring us all together. Your smile lights the path for us all.
Its been a year in time but seems like an eternity of pain in my heart.

A wonderful mother and grandmother, loved and missed by many.

Mom, you loved your hummingbirds, there was no doubt about it and they loved coming to your feeders. Your garden was an oasis for them and other birds, bees, squirrels, and I do believe on a couple occasions a bear. ;) October 2021.

You were an amazing Nanny kind, caring and beautiful! I am grateful you were able to see the person I have grown up to be. I will forever cherish all of our memories made over the years.
