Bettine was born in Dumfries, Scotland, November 12, 1927 and passed away on June 18, 2018. Her beloved husband Andrew passed away in 2011 after 62 years of marriage. They married in Northern Rhodesia (Zambia), moved to Canada and lived on various army bases for several years. They settled in Ottawa in 1967 then moved to Victoria, which they loved, in 1978.
Mum loved her family fiercely. Left to mourn are Jane (Gordie), Sarah (Ralph), Andrea (deceased), Andrew J. (Joanne) and James (Jenn); 7 grandchildren: Derek (Angela), Valerie (Kernby), Olivia, Duncan, Gavin, Alexandra and Meghan.
