Blanche died peacefully at home with the grace she carried throughout her life. She will lovingly be remembered by her son Brent Bogle; daughter Gail Guabello and brothers Chuck Eggins and Phil Hughes. Blanche was born in Vancouver where she lived most of her early years before moving to Toronto. Blanche then returned to her roots on the West Coast and settled in Sidney and then Saanichton. Her children meant everything to her. She is grateful for dear friends and family over the years. During her working years in Toronto, Blanche received the Winner’s Circle Recognition of Excellence Award by MSA Software and, later in life, Blanche was recognized with the Linda Barnes Award award by the local Victoria Bar Association.
At Blanche’s request, there will be no memorial service, and in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital or a charity special to you.
