Carol Mildred East

Carol Mildred East, age 83, of Saanichton, British Columbia passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2023. Carol was born on October 18, 1939 in Wolfville, Nova Scotia to Mildred and Andrew Forsythe. After her school graduation she married the love of her life Lionel H. East on June 14, 1958. During their 64 years of marriage they lived in Halifax, NS, St. John, NB, Kitimat, BC, several locations in Greater Vancouver, BC and for the past few years they have made Saanichton their home. Andrew (Andy) Lionel was born first, and 10 years later Christine Carol joined the family. Carol enjoyed cooking and like to try out new recipes. Gardening and flowers brought her great pleasure. She took great pride in her gardens, as well as enjoyed several other hobbies throughout the years. She loved to laugh and made friends easily. To say she will be missed by her family and friends is an understatement.
