He is now reunited with his beloved husband, Bill Emigh, and his younger daughter, Bee Tilney, who predeceased him. He will be missed by his elder daughter, Lucy Tilney, his granddaughter, Sian Hulse, as well as by friends and fellow musicians whose lives he enriched with his world-recognised harpsichord virtuosity, wicked wit, and literary and linguistic insights.
