She was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Blanche Liddell, her husband Trevor Charles, and her sisters Kay Lannon and Ruth MacKinnon. Connie is survived by her children Tony Charles (Beth Abbott) and Valerie Matheson (Wayne Matheson), her grandchildren Gavin Charles, Ivy Abbott-Charles, Dylan Matheson, Bryn Matheson (great-granddaughter Madelyn), and nieces Joan, Barbara and Joyce.
A small family memorial has taken place.
