I was very sad to hear about the passing of Cork, while I haven't seen her in a while I remember the good old days fondly when we lived together in Victoria.  Cork was a very kind person with a big heart, always thinking of others.  While remembering the fun times we had, I send my heartfelt condolences to Cork's family!

With sadness that we say goodbye to Corky, who will always be known to me as Swanny’s Mom - many a day she allowed me into her home, playing TRK hockey with her son.  Wonderful mother, amazing woman, great sense of humour, who always seemed to have a smile on her face, and you will be greatly missed.  Love to all of the family and friends she leaves behind.  Gone but will never be forgotten - rest in peace.

Though distance separated us, grandma remained a constant and treasured presence in my life. One of the greatest highlights of every trip to Canada was spending time with her—time would fly by as she shared story after story from her incredible life. My favorites were always the ones about my father’s youth—told with warmth and humor.

Grandma had a remarkable way of making me feel special. She spoiled me in the most loving way—with piles of clothes, toys that brought endless joy, and later, books that shaped my growing mind. Her generosity was limitless, and her thoughtfulness left lasting imprints on my heart.

I deeply regret not being able to thank her enough for everything she gave me—both materially and emotionally. But I will carry her kindness, stories, and spirit with me always, forever grateful for the love she showed so freely.

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Corky, a beloved mother, and mother-in-law, grandmother.. Though we lived far apart, the times we spent together were full of warmth, laughter, and lasting memories that I will always treasure.

I remember our beautiful wedding in Bali, where your grace and joy shone through every moment. You welcomed me into your family with open arms and a kind heart. We may not have seen each other often, but our Christmases together were made special by your love and presence—your joyful laugh and your thoughtful gifts. You always made our holidays special. 

Thank you for raising such a wonderful son—my husband—whose strength, kindness, and integrity are a reflection of the love and values you instilled in him. Your influence lives on in him every day, and I will always be grateful for that.

You will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
