Dennis was born in Victoria B.C. where he lived most of his life. He grew up the eldest of five brothers and one sister. Dennis was always a trailblazer for his siblings: the first to own a Beatle record, first to have wide handlebars on his bike, first to have sideburns and first to own a 450 Honda motorcycle! After attending the University of Victoria, Dennis went on to several jobs until he found his calling as a rehabilitation assistant at Victoria General Hospital and the Victoria Arthritis Society. In that role, he touched many lives and brightened their days with his infectious humor. Dennis shared over thirty years of his life with Kathleen Clarke who sadly predeceased him. Two of his great passions were reading and playing guitar while channeling Keith Richards for artistic inspiration! Dennis always approached life with kindness and his generosity extended to helping others whenever needed. From casual acquaintances to close friends, Dennis’ humor and energy made him instantly likable and memorable. Dennis’ life was not always easy however, he faced his challenges quietly and always envisioned a positive outcome. He will be sorely missed by his family and long-time friends.
