Dorene Louise Steele

Dorene is survived by her loving husband Cedric, son Shawn, daughter-in-law Rebecca, granddaughter Charlotte, brother Ron, sister-in-law Cindy, niece Alicia (Dave), and nephew John. Her extended loving family aunt Margaret, uncle Bob (Marilyn), cousins Ted, Jim (Marilyn), John, Steve, and Jeff; second cousins Ryan (Marnie) Allison, Jack, Taylor (Donna), Rowan, Kody, and Katie. Dorene was predeceased by her son Darren (2015), mother Jean Cridland (2008), father John Cridland (1965), father-in-law Leo Steele (1974), mother-in-law Anna Steele (1990), and grandparents Elsie Ward (1973) and Jack Ward (1988).

Dorene was an amazing wife, mother, and friend. Dorene emanated an aura of love, compassion, happiness, and grace all around her. Dorene demonstrated courage, integrity, determination, and unfaltering love. She had a radiant smile that would light up a room. Dorene committed herself to caring for everyone else around her and she helped many people in her lifetime.

The world will be an emptier place without her, as she was greatly loved by her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
