Doris E Starck

February 9, 1937 – May 24, 2015

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of a beloved Mother, Grandmother and friend, on May 24/2015.

Doris was born in Biggar Saskatchewan and in her early years moved to Vancouver Island, where she met the love of her life Charlie Starck.

They raised their family in Starckville also known as Granville Street, and there are many great stories that have come from those years.

Over the years Doris worked at a variety of places including Woodwards, CW Starck Tractor Services and finally retiring from BC Medical.

Doris had a great Zest for life and was always on the go, helping out where she could. She loved her family, “the girls”, crafts, shopping & returning items and vacations in warm places.

Doris is predeceased by her husband Charlie; look out Charlie here she comes J.

She leaves behind her children Charlene (Robbie), Eric (Lynne), Mark (Debra) and her grandchildren Stacey, Jesse and Tyler, as well as many other family and friends.

She will be greatly missed but her memories will linger on.
