Born in Cochrane, Ontario on January 16, 1927, Dorothe passed away peacefully on November 21, 2023 at 96 years of age. Dorothe is the last of her St. Denis generation, living beyond her 11 siblings. Pre-deceased by her parents Arthur and Valentine St. Denis and her loving husband Robert Gordon in 2006, she leaves her 3 loving children (Yvonne, Esther and Mark), her 3 grandchildren (Jaime, Josh and Jeff) and her 2 great grandchildren (Tyler and Noah). She also leaves many loving nieces and nephews of the St. Denis family, and 2 sister-in-laws Shirley and Denise.
Dorothe, aside from being a loving wife and amazing mother, had a great career at the public library and a vibrant social life within the deaf community. She will be missed by all.
The family invites you to join in the celebration of her life at First Memorial Funeral Services located at 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC V8Y 1B4 on December 16, 2023 from 2pm – 4:30pm.
