Affectionately nicknamed "Teddy", our Mom, age 96 passed away on May 22, 2024 after a long struggle with dementia. Her daughter Deb and son-in-law Rod were by her side. Predeceased by her husband Ken, sons-in-Iaw Gord and Lou, three sisters and one brother. She leaves behind her loving daughters Sandra, Catherine and Deborah (Rod), five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, her brother David (Doris) and extended family members.
Our Mom was a longtime employee of Woodward's Dept. Store, volunteer, gardener, fisherwoman, camper, bowler, a seamstress, and a recycler before recycling became a household word. Also a member of the Canadian Scottish Princess Mary Women's Auxiliary. She will be deeply missed by her family and has left us with lifelong memories. She's dancing under the moonlight with our Dad whose been waiting 43 years for her!
