She was much loved and will be dearly missed. We are grateful for the recent visit by her sister (Joanne Lamb), her brother (Amil Minken and wife Delores). Her family and Saskatchewan roots were everything to her. Nothing made mum light up with laughter like a family gathering. Eleanor is survived by her son (Rick) and daughters (Shannon and Michele, son-in-law Kirk and grandchildren Claire-Marie and Callum) as well as her sister, brother, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband James Bruce MacGillivray. We sincerely thank all the staff at Mount St. Mary Hospital, Victoria, B.C., for their love and care of her: Dr. Michael Vaughan and the amazing team of caring individuals.
