Elenore Jean Crisp

April 12, 1935 - March 19, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Elenore Jean Crisp (nee Straith) on March 19, 2017.

Elenore was born on April 12,1935 at the Royal Jubilee Hospital and lived her entire life in Victoria. The past 59 years were spent in the home she and her husband Nelson built and loved, in Cadboro Bay.

Elenore was proud to be a stay at home mom and considered raising her three boys to be her greatest accomplishment. Many hours were spent over the years at the various fields, tracks, and pools cheering on her family. She was very loving, patient, supportive and strong, with a great sense of humour. Spending time with her grandchildren, vacationing in Hawaii and Reno, cruising and being in her back garden with Nelson, brought her much joy.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Nelson; her three sons, Sandy (Heather), Mark (Colleen) and Rob (Leslee); her seven grandchildren, Breanne, Shaylyn, Candice (Paul), Matt (Hayley), Scott (Courtney), Lauren and Nolan; her three great grandchildern, Evelyn, Malachi and Greta; brother Bob (Lorna), sister-in-law Jean (Terry) and their family members, as well as her many close friends.

No funeral as requested by Elenore. Flowers gratefully declined.
