CLARKE, Elizabeth Barrie (Elsie) April 3, 1915 May 19, 2012 After 97 well loved years our Mum passed away peacefully. Born in Strathaven, Scotland, immigrated with her family to Canada 1922. She grew up in Nanaimo where she met Dad (Fred Clarke) and they were married October 17, 1941. She lived in Victoria while Dad was overseas and when he returned they moved to Alta Lake (Whistler, BC) to help run Rainbow Lodge. In 1948 they moved to Mill Bay where they helped our grandparents run Kilmalu Guest House. In 1951 they moved to Todd Inlet where she raised her 2 daughters, then in 1960 to Brentwood Bay, then Bamberton and finally to Victoria. Predeceased by Dad on Feb. 14, 1996. Mum then moved into The Kennsington for the next 10 years and when her health began to fail, her final home was Selkirk Place. She is survived by her daughters Patricia Martin (Brian) and Janice Graham (Bill) and grandchildren Brad, Michelle, Michael, Leah & Ryan. A special thank you to the staff on 6th floor Fenton Selkirk Place for their care, compassion and kindness during Mum's last 2 years. The night skies are a little brighter now there's a new star in heaven Good night Mum 657134
