Evelyn May Knox, born January 03rd, 1925 in Wadhurst Sussex, England. She immigrated to Canada as a war bride to Carlos John in 1945. She was a lifelong Salvationist like her parents before her. She volunteered in a nursing home for over 20 years. She was a mother to 4 daughters, Valerie, Sheilagh, Eileen, and Darlene. She had 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Acute Care staff for the wonderful care they gave Evelyn and her family. A celebration of her life will take place on Thursday June 28, 2012 at 2:00pm at First Memorial Funeral Services Chapel 4725 Falaise Dr.
