Gary David Turner passed away on December 16, 2015 at his home in North Saanich, BC. Born in Ottawa, Ontario on October 2, 1958, he grew up and attended school in Victoria, completing his Bachelor of Arts at UVic in 1980, and was a Certified Management Accountant since 1991. His career in accounting was long and rewarding, retiring from government service in July 2015. He was an accomplished pianist with a passion for music, cycling and travel.
He is predeceased by his father Glenn, and survived by mother Helen, wife Laura, sister Carla (Doug) and nieces Kendra and Abby.
A Celebration of Life including family and close friends will be held on December 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at First Memorial Funeral Services, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
