I was saddened to come across this memorial. Uncle George was the last of the Lessard children. Since my father Charles passed away I have thought of Auntie Ann and Uncle  George often. They were vibrant people. Auntie Joan and family may the memories of your loved one be in your heart forever. Thinking of you in this time of sorrow.

I am saddened to hear of George's passing. George was one of my favorite Palm Springs neighbors - I always enjoyed his sassy remarks. Such a nice man - he will be missed.  My sympathy to Joan and the family.

It's rare in a lifetime that we meet someone who we immediately connect with, who makes us laugh, and who makes us feel comfortable. George was that kind of man. He was someone who had a great sense of humour, and was a kind and thoughtful human being. 

We first met George as a next-door neighbour back in 2000 in Sidney, BC. We immediately clicked with him and his wife, Joan, first as neighbours then into a solid friendship over the years. 

We celebrated anniversaries together, played golf, and visited them in Palm Springs. We enjoyed several dinners and happy hours  talking and laughing late into the evenings. George was always full of hilarious stories, helpful advice, and quick quips. He loved to entertain and made people laugh. I will always be thankful for his friendship and will miss him greatly.

Our deepest condolences to Joan, Michelle, Dan and their families.

We were shocked and deeply saddened by George's sudden passing. May your treasured memories and the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. We will always fondly remember 'Jorge'.

Always a smile and a held-out hand, 
Always thoughtful and kind,
So many memories you left behind.

Great sadness that we learned of George's passing. My thoughts of George is of a man that was a true Gentleman. George and I travelled together from 1986 - 1989 on a work project across British Columbia. 
Together daily I heard his hopes and fears along with what he had learned from his life's lessons. I am so thankful for those days with George. 

Our prayers and thoughts are with you Joan and your family.

Very sorry to hear of George's passing. I met George back in 1988 when he visited New Brunswick on behalf of BCTel. We have been in contact and visited many times since then both in New Brunswick and Sidney, BC. George was a real Gentleman , kind and a great story teller, we will miss him deeply on our visits to Sidney.

We are so sorry for your loss, Joan. George was a great neighbour and a better friend to our family. Will al ways remember the 5th wheel trips and nights on the deck. Our boys, Ryan and Eric always will hold you both as special people. So glad we had the time we spent with George..
