Gord will be remembered for his gentle spirit, generous heart, and the quiet grace with which he moved through life. His warm, unmistakable laugh could brighten any room and lift the spirits of everyone around him. Though he did not have children of his own, Gord embraced the role of uncle with extraordinary devotion. He poured his love into the children and families within his closest circle, forming bonds that became like family to him and brought him immense joy and meaning throughout his life.
Gord was predeceased by his parents, whom he loved deeply and carried in his heart always.
He was a long term government employee and was looking forward to his retirement this coming April, a milestone he had worked hard to reach and was eager to enjoy.
Gord’s kindness, loyalty, and gentle presence will be remembered always. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by his remarkable spirit.
A celebration of his life will be held on April 11, 2026 at 2 PM at Elk Lake Baptist Church 5349 Patricia Bay Hwy, Victoria
