The saint has finally left the sinful world but his imprint and influence will last and remained indelible not just in my but I believe in the life of many also.

I greatly appreciated Harry during the years I served as general accountant at Addictions & Rehab (ARC) Victoria.  He was a blessing and encouragement to me.

My wife Sylvia and I are so sorry to hear of your loss, you father Harry must have blessed so many including myself over the many years with his regular thoughts. I wrote to him on occasions sharing with him the times that they arrived just at the right time.
It was such a blessing to have known him and indeed how fitting it is to have a celebration of his life and ministry, may God take him into his arms and welcome him into the kingdom.

It has been privilege to know Harry, a kind and honourable man who lived his life practicing his beliefs by serving others with compassion. I will miss him. My heartfelt condolences to Harry's whole family

1963 was the beginning of a special relationship with the Hickson family which has continued until now.  Through the years our paths crossed occasionally and it was always a joy to share together.  In recent years I, too, have enjoyed Harry's "Spirit Lifter" devotionals.  They really were just that - uplifting to the spirit.  My last verbal contact with Harry was in February 2014 when I visited Victoria.  It was good to have a phone conversation and catch up on family news.  He was truly a man of God and an inspiration.  He was deeply devoted to his dear wife, Hazel, and his family who will miss him greatly as will many people to whom he ministered.  Maureen, Marshall and Melody my thoughts and prayers are with you.  Wish I could be there tomorrow but I will be in thought and prayer.  Please accept my sincere and deepest sympathy

It was a great privilege to have known Harry over the years.  What a wonderful, kind man!  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially Hazel and his family who are very much in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

Major Harry Hickson was a member of the Yahoo SA3 site for many years and was a regular Poster. His posts under the title "Spirit Lifter" were welcomed and read my many of the members.

Deepest sympathy to Harry's Family.  Harry's warmth and ever reaching out to his cyber audience to share beautiful and amazing information on the internet were truly Spirit-lifting. My heart felt condolences, go out to all the family, at this very difficult time! Harry was a wonderful friend, father, husband, Grampa, counsellor, man of God! He was very supportive, along with his wife, a Hazel of my family , through difficult times! We will always remember, in the sweet by and by! The Lambert family.

Last heard from our good friend, Harry, November 2nd. We will miss 'spirit-lifter' given so faithfully through many years. It seems like just yesterday I received Harry's devotional and inspirational sharing. The pictures he sent out of autumn scenes inspired and stirred our souls. Harry was truly a wonderful man, godly and friendly. He cared about people's souls and salvation in Christ. He will be sorely missed! His Christian witness continues to live on. Maureen, Marshall and Melody, many thoughts flood our minds at this time, recalling both your Mother and Father who influenced us as Fellow Officers and then more recently the lovely daily thoughts your Dad sent out.  I had missed them and just sent an email to him yesterday and then when the Army sent out their weekly information for prayer he was listed.  Would love to hear from you and Melody, I understand you lived very close and were amazing.  
Both Don and I thank the Lord for both parents.  Our prayer is that the many memories you have will be special treasures for all of you.  You were loved so much and we know how much they meant to you.  God bless you. Truly Promoted to Glory.
