Hubert Schober

On February 24th, 2025, Hubert Schober joined his wife, Erna. Hubert Schober was born August 22, 1926, in Lavamund, Austria. Bertl married his wife Erna (2020), of 70 years, in his hometown on April 10th, 1950. Together, Erna and Bert had three beautiful children: Irmgard Estell, Karin Stewart (1994), and Hubert Schober (jr).

Bert moved to Canada with his wife Erna and daughter Irmgard in 1955, where he lived and thrived for the rest of his life. Bertl was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener, outdoorsman and, he passed those values onto his family. Family camping trips were commonplace and treasured by himself and all of us.

Hubert Schober is survived by his daughter Irmgard (Terry) and son Hubert (Felicia). Bert was also blessed with eight grandchildren, Dan (Kirsten), Andrea (Darren), Erin, Vanessa (Joel), Caleb (Tanya), Adam (Marina), Ryan and Owen. Hubert was also blessed with nine great grandchildren, Alea, Elisha, Gavin, MV, Tyson, Jaxon, Jaedyn, Grayson, and Audrey. We will miss Bert but are comforted by his long life and the closeness we all shared to the end of his days.

There will be a private service to celebrate Bert soon, (date to be announced). In lieu of flowers, please spend time with your family out in nature.
