Iris Vera Bailey passed away peacefully in Victoria with her loving children at her side on October 4, 2018 at the age of 89 years. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She had an amazing passion for art and thrilled us all with her hand sketched cards and fabulous handmade specialties. Her strength of spirit and courageous nature guided her through life and now that same strength and courage will help her family through this difficult time in saying farewell to our Sweet Angel on Earth. She has left this place, but she is not gone for she filled our hearts with love, laughter and wisdom – she is with us still.

She is predeceased by her loving husband Cliff and her sisters Patricia and Theresa. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister and best friend, Zelma; her loyal little doggie, Barney; her children Pat (Ken), Jim (Chris), Jo-Ann (Jeff) and Robert “Jay” (Michele); 9 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Towne Hall at The Heights at Mount View, 3814 Carey Road, Victoria BC on November 10, 2018 at 2 p.m.
