Jaginder (Genty) Genty Singh Johal

June 01, 1933 - July 09, 2015

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Genty Johal, who passed away with his family by his side at RJH. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary: eldest son Gary; brother, Buncy and sister, Sina. he is survived by sons, Herb (Denise), Jim (Elaine); daughters, Linda, Lori, Lisa (Andrew) and grandchildren, TJ (Amy), Samantha (Matt), Michael, Andrea (Clint) and Mackenzie, Genty was born and raised in Victoria and was well known for his truck driving days at Ideal Fuel, Trio Ready Mix, and other trucking companies. He even had his chauffeur's license. He always had many trucking stories of the good old days to tell. 10/4 Moose. Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and the staff at the Royal Jubilee Hospital for their great care of our dad. In lieu of flowers donations may be made at BC Cancer Society, BC Diabetes Foundation or Victoria Hospice. Genty will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Love you Dad, Gramps.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday October 17, 2015 at 2:00PM at First Memorial Funeral Services Chapel 4725 Falaise Drive.
