The Gerding family (and that includes Dad as he would have felt the same way) offer our sympathy and prayers to all the family. Jimmy was too young to leave all of us but he will be watching over all of you.

We have wonderful memories of a 35 year  friendship that started in Edmonton and continues to this day. We love you "Bawbwee". You will be missed but never forgotten.

I was very saddened to hear of Jim's passing. Regardless of the challenges that were thrown at him he maintained his great sense of humor and positive outlook on life. The world lost a prince of a man.

I remember your "Infectous Humour" in North Saanich Middle school! Your crazy smile,followed by a "Develish look" in your eyes,and hangin with Gavin Bland, Mike Knudsen, and Pat Renaud in Mr.Lim's gr.8th math class!! Always had a smile while passing in the halls at Parklands! Shocked and Saddened!! Gone too soon Jim! R.I.P. Will always remember you with a smile!! Jennifer (Mason) Sutton
