
Bruce was predeceased by his only son, Ken, his brothers, Gordon and Wilfred, and his sister, Mildred Campbell. He leaves his beloved grandchildren, Sherry, Kim and Ken Jr., and great-grandchildren, Teresa, Tyler, Jackson, Austin and Mason.
Bruce was born in Winnipeg in 1916. He had a great love for all sports, especially baseball and golf. He was a member for many years at Glen Meadows Club. He enjoyed many winters on the Palm Desert courses. He took great pleasure in being a member of the “Hole-In-One” club.
Bruce worked with the Canadian Indemnity Company in Winnipeg for 36 years, retiring to Victoria in 1980.
He served in the navy during WW2. Bruce & Hazel enjoyed their retirement years traveling and their many winters in Palm Desert.
He will be fondly remembered by many friends across Canada, by grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Roger Hamelin & his daughters, Karla and Kim, (Wpg) for their devoted friendship. Roger and Bruce had a bond (unbreakable) and every Sunday phone calls for over 30 years.
