He leaves behind his loving wife Doreen and children, Stuart (Karen), Pat (Cheryl), Kevin (Lori), Ricci, Debbie. Grandchildren Sally, Mathew, Devan, Alesia, Kimberly, DeAndre, Cara. Great-grandchildren Kristal, Aria and loving Dog Hoover. Jim was raised on the family farm in the Melfort Saskatchewan area, studied at the University of Saskatchewan, and while still farming, became president of Western Canada Fairs. Moved to Estevan, Saskatchewan and established a mechanical contracting business. In 1966 he moved to Victoria B.C. worked at Sears, before establishing his own business, Acro Radiant Floor Heating. Jim's celebration of life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church 2964 Richmond Rd. on February 8 at 2:30 PM.
