He was a loving husband to Donna, father to Janice and Dave and proud grandfather to Leo and Jacqueline Krysa. Also survived by his sister, Letabeth Ranney, brothers, Alan Waring (Ethel) and Rae Waring (Marilyn), brother-in-law, Glenn Wall (Gillian) and many nieces and nephews.
Jim was orn in Ingersoll, ON and was educated at Western University and University of Toronto. He taught science at Cardinal, ON & Lakefield, ON, and practiced dentistry in Orillia, ON and Victoria, BC.
He married the love of his life, Donna, in 1958. Jim was an active member of the Orillia Y’s Men’s Club, Community Concert and Dental Society. As an accomplished pianist, he shared his love of music with family and friends. He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, kind heart and generous spirit.
In retirement, he was actively involved with lawn bowling, Scottish country dancing and gardening. The family is so grateful for the wonderful palliative care Jim received at Selkirk Place.
