Jack passed away peacefully on October 26, 2017 in Victoria B.C. at the age of 88.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Mary; sisters-in-law, Gladys and Olga; nieces and nephews, Sharon (Gordon), Terry, Kathy (Greg), Ken (Jane), Brent, Graham (Allison), Linda and Susan (Rick) and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Jack was pre-deceased by his parents, George and Leota, his brother Milton and his sister-in-law Sylvia.
Jack was born in Mirror, AB and started his career with Texaco Exploration in Edmonton. He ended his career with the Department of Mines and Minerals in Victoria B.C.
Respecting Jack’s wishes, no memorial service will be held, and flowers are gratefully declined. Jack’s family is eternally gratefully to the staff at the Royal Jubilee Hospital and Palliative Care for their kindness and caring.
Jack’s abundant sincerity and sharp wit will continue to put smiles on the faces of those close to him.
Jack bids a fond farewell to his dear family and many friends.
