We met Kelly when my mother was admited to Aberdeen Hospital.
He was a gentle compassionate man and his sense of humor and loving nature made such a difference.  He quickly became very special to my mother and our family.
We were shocked and saddened when we heard that he recently passed away in hospice. While we knew he was off work with a health issue we had no idea of the seriousness of his illness. 
I wish I'd had the opportunity to tell him how much his wonderful way of being in the world and caring nature resonated with all of us and the positive impact he had on my mom's difficult transition to living in care. He made such a difference. 
He has been and will be much missed...He touched my mother and our family in a very special way.....???

I am so saddened to hear this news.   I knew Kelly during my work years at Juan de Fuca Hospitals, and I so enjoyed our conversations.   He had wonderful qualities in his work with the elderly, and I admired his open and honest attitude.   My sincere sympathies to his family.
