Lynda Gail Guthrie passed away in peace and with grace on July 11, 2022 at the Victoria General Hospital surrounded by people who loved her dearly. She is now with her beloved husband John Guthrie who predeceased her on December 8, 2019.
She is survived by her daughters Mairi (Kevin) and Meigan, her grandchildren Natasha, Robert (Amy), Lia and Madelyn, her great grandchildren Payton, Maddison, James and Anna, her sisters (Penny and Lesley and her brother (David). Lynda was also blessed with an extended family in Scotland and an amazing group of friends and colleagues across the globe.
Lynda was born (October 15, 1945) in Vancouver BC and started her life as an “air force brat” where she traveled with her family to many different locations. Lynda and John were married on April 16, 1966 where she continued her career as an army wife again traveling the globe in support of her husband. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, Oma, Omama and friend. She had a positive impact on everyone she met and was adored by many.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday August 28, 2022 at 2:30pm at First Memorial Funeral Services 4725 Falaise Drive Victoria, British Columbia V8Y 1B4 250-658-5244.
