In Loving memory of Lynda D Popowich who was born in May 1940 in Vancouver B.C. Lynda passed away peacefully on July 21st, 2025 in Victoria, BC at Gorge Rd longterm care from her long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Lynda is predeceased by her parents Edythe and Harry Tyrell and her sister Sandy. Lynda is survived by her two children Heather and Brent (Courtney) and her two grandchildren Connor and Charlotte. Lynda married Wes in August 1962, who passed away peacefully on July 15th, 2025. Lynda and Wes moved to Victoria in 1968 from the Okanagan.
Lynda enjoyed being outdoors working in her garden and walking the Esquimalt Lagoon regularly. Lynda was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. Lynda’s thoughtfulness with remembering her loved ones birthdays, anniversary’s and special occasions was always loved and appreciated by her family.
A joint celebration of Life with her husband Wes of almost 63yrs will be held on Saturday September 6th, 2025 at 1pm @ Colwood Church, 2250 Sooke Rd, Colwood BC.
