Margaret M. Massey (nee Opre), passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the age of 76. Born November 20, 1941, in Regina, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by her parents, husband Bob, Brother George and sister Anne. Marg will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Darren and Blaine (Kelly) and her Brother John. She was a proud Grandma to four wonderful grandchildren – Kyle, Bryden, Hannah and Brooklyn. Marg began her working life as a teacher before moving to Victoria with the family in 1969 and began her tenure, with Bob, at Jeune Bros Tent & Awning. Together they enjoyed many years of camping and curling with their many great friends. She enjoyed golfing and travelling with ‘the girls” …….and loved puttering in the yard right up until this past Summer. A Memorial Service will be held in First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4725 Falaise Dr., Victoria, B.C., on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 2 pm. The family wishes to thank Dr. Peter Houghton, and the wonderful nurses at VGH, for their kindness and caring support.
