Marie Josephine STODEL passed away peacefully on July 11 2025 at home. Marie was born in Coventry, England in 1932, and was baptised by the Christadelphians at age 21. She married her husband of 72 years in 1953 and emigrated to Canada in 1957. A member of Sweet Adelines, the Harmonizers, Crystal Singers, and Starlight Pops; she travelled North America often with her various choir groups. Throughout her long life, she was a Yoga teacher, a Medical Stenographer, a Realtor, and an Avon Lady. Marie remained active, agile, and reasonably healthy until her last breath. Now she is awaiting the resurrection at the return of Jesus Christ.
Survived by her husband Victor, and her daughter Julie (Lee). Predeceased by her son Mark. Marie will be missed by many friends and relatives.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Christadelphian Hall on a later date to be determined.
