Marjorie Constance Catterall

Connie passed away peacefully on September 13th at the Royal; Jubilee Hospital with her family at her side. She had just celebrated her 90th birthday. Connie was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a true friend to all who knew her.

Connie leaves her 3 sons: Doug and his wife Barbara , James (Caitlyn), David(Anna), Sean(Sarah) John and his wife Anne and Jamie. She was the proud Great Grandmother to Jackson and Lewis and was known to them as GG.

Connie was born to Harry and Leah Wilson in Montreal. She met Al at a Christmas party on a blind date arranged by her best friend . It was love at first sight for both of them and they married 2 years later in 1956. They remained devoted to each other for 67 years. When the boys were young Connie was involved with the Beavers and was an ardent booster of their various ice hockey and soccer teams. Connie was a volunteer at Parkland School and was an active member of the Conservative Party and the Monarchist League.

Connie is sadly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank the Paramedics, Doctors and Nurses at the RJH for their kind, attentive care.
