Michel was the beloved husband of Hélène Duranleau-Bisaillon for 56 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Charles (Stefania Vallone) and Julie (Joakim Hjelm), and by his cherished granddaughters, Madeleine and Marisol. He is also survived by his brother Jean-Guy Bisaillon (Pierrette); his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Yvon Ayotte (the late Léa), Alfred Duranleau (Elisabeth), Louise Bélanger (Jacques), Denyse Ducros (the late Michel), and Jean Duranleau (Liliane); as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Michel was a devoted, caring, and generous man. Above all else, family was always his greatest priority.
A successful businessman, Michel was the founding president of Aderco in Montreal, growing the company internationally with offices in Belgium, Brazil, and Singapore. Known for his exceptional intelligence and curiosity, he had a deep passion for history, art, wine, and music.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Michel’s memory may be made to the BC Cancer Society or Variety BC.
